Abstak :

The background of this research is the alteration of consumers’ behavioral and needs patterns which are becoming more practical due to the advancements of technology and information current. Consumers are becoming more insistent on their demands on the promptness and accuracy of the fulfillment of their needs. Hence, e-commerce are introduced and improved as a response to those demands. E-commerce, on this matter, is perceived as the fitting response to the consumers’ insistent demands on promptness and accuracy, thanks to its ability of overcoming both spatial and temporal gaps. The purpose of this research are to discern and analyze the influences of privacy, security, and trust on consumers’ eagerness to carry out online transactions on Tokopedia.com. In this case, privacy, security, and trust are treated as independent variables and being analyzed, both simultaneously and partially, to determine which one them that has the dominant influence upon the aforementioned consumers eagerness.This research is an explanatory research by nature. The primary data of this research are gathered through a survey on 110 respondents selected by using Accidental Sampling method. While the secondary data are attained from academic literatures and internet resources. The data are being analyzed quantitatively through a linier regression analysis utilizing SPSS program. Within this research, F test result reveals that the independent variables of privacy, security, and trust are simultaneously provide significant influences on the dependent variable of consumers’ eagerness. Whilst, t test result shows that, partialy, each of the three aforesaid independent variables has significant influences on the consumers’ eagerness. Whereas, in particular, based on the standardized coefficients or beta coefficients comparison between each of the three independent variables, this research concludes that security is the dominant independent variable which most significantly influences the consumers eagerness to carry out online transactions on Tokopedia.com
